First female to ever hold the titile of Menkyo Shihan/ Mast level in Combat Ki. The study of taking blows to vital parts of the body.

I was the only female in a 3 person team that ran a course that subcontracted to a body guard company. We ran a 8 wk program teaching candidates basically how not to break people. Physical and mental conditioning through hands on stress situations. How to control a single person or groups either as a single protector or in a team. And some of the legal ramifications of physical action .Also non physical alternatives for pre-emptive action.

Worked with police officers through the years with the hands on training of control techniques.

Close quarters combat training with the Air Marshalls taught by Steve Tirrani.

I participate with a group of Chester County police depts as their dispatcher during scenario based training sessions where officers are taught how to handle various high stress incidents.

As a police dispatcher for Chester County 911 I've responded to many critical incidents on the County's emergency response vehicle to handle tactical dispatch on location. Sometimes being the only police dispatcher to handle the incident completely.

Brian chose to focus on Krav Maga and earned Black belts under multiple affiliations, most notably under Ernie Kirk and Krav Mag Universal. Brian is a 2nd Degree Black belt and Level 4 certified instructor in Krav Maga under the same affiliation. Mr. Meyers also earned his Krav Maga Practical Instructor Certification through the Wingate Institute in Netanya, Israel and has trained with Krav Maga instructors all over the world.

In addition to instructing a diverse population, including adults of all ages and experience levels, women, teens and children in self-protection, Mr. Meyers features as a guest instructor at International Krav Maga camps to train law enforcement and civilians control and restraint techniques.

Brian opened Catalyst Krav Maga Academy in 2017 and quickly built a loyal following off self-defense enthusiasts. Now as the chief instructor at Catalyst Krav and with more than 12 years of teaching experience,Brian is focused on sharing his knowledge with students at his academy as well as taking opportunities to train with a wide variety of combative instructors both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Taylor started with Premier Lawrence in 2006 and found an effective self-defense system (Krav Maga) where he meet Mr. Kirk in 2007 and began his Krav Journey. He purchased the school and started Premier Lawrence LLC in early 2017. He has crossed trained in Kickboxing, Kali, BJJ & Krav Maga for 18 years.
